LED Parking Light Project

The Deer Run Crossing community recently completed a remarkable parking lot upgrade, replacing old halogen bulbs with power-saving, bright LED lights. The new system, powered by green energy, reduces electricity consumption significantly while providing improved visibility and safety for residents. The eco-friendly project reflects the community's commitment to sustainability, minimizing its carbon footprint. Neighbors admired the sleek, modern lighting, proud to contribute to environmental preservation. Now, the parking lot shines as a beacon of progress and green innovation for the entire neighborhood.

Entrance Sign Project

Deer Run Crossing's dedicated volunteers came together to restore their community entrance sign, which had fallen into disrepair. The faded sign was barely readable, its mount rusted and unstable, while overgrown bushes had entirely obscured it. The group trimmed back the greenery, replaced the deteriorated mount with a sturdy frame, and repainted the sign with vibrant colors to bring it back to life. Adding a solar-powered LED light ensured the sign would remain visible and welcoming even at night. By the end of the day, the renewed sign stood proudly, symbolizing the collective spirit and care of the community.

Landscaping Project

Concerned by rising complaints of missing packages, the Deer Run Crossing community took action by hiring a landscaping company to enhance the front entrance. The plan was simple yet effective: plant dense shrubs around key entry points to deter porch pirates from targeting homes. The landscaping team carefully selected hearty, low-maintenance plants and arranged them in strategic clusters, creating both a visual and physical barrier. Once completed, the lush greenery not only added curb appeal but also provided a greater sense of security for residents. While the project was met with enthusiasm, the community continued to encourage vigilance and communication to ensure packages safely reached their intended doorsteps.
